BONN PERSPECTIVES offers challenging dialogue and conference formats: innovative and controversial, and beyond sector confines. BONN PERSPECTIVES conceives of itself as a dialogue platform, a think tank, a laboratory and workshop for developing new ideas. It offers a showcase for new approaches, a caucus for discourse among decision-makers from politics, the private sector and civil society. It was in Bonn that milestones were set for the international sustainability debate: the Rio follow-up conference, the International Freshwater Conference, the Afghanistan Conference and renewables 2004. BONN PERSPECTIVES takes up where these left off. The diversity of forms and formats employed is its hallmark.
